TROY LINDSEY : PERSONAL BIO
Troy Lindsey started playing guitar when he was
14-years old. He took three lessons in the back of a church from a
preacher in rural Wyoming and has had a guitar in his hands ever
since.
Growing up his greatest influences were Waylon Jennings and
AC/DC, which blended together to give his music its outlaw flavor. In
1991 he joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Hawaii working in
helicopter aviation.
To gain some fundamental musical knowledge, he
took some lessons from a local guitar shop for six months. After
leaving the Marines in 1997, he continued with helicopter aviation
which he does to this day.
Traveling the world, he has met many
musicians and seen lots of life, which attribute to the worldly sound
in his music. In his travels he always packs a guitar, or adds one to
his collection he purchases from local artisans.
In the summer of
2005, Troy took his music to the next level and built a studio at his
home in East Wenatchee Washington where he records and edits his
music. He shares his home with his wife of five years, Alicia, and
their two daughters.
